Hello all,
May be I can get some help here...
I have been getting the "dwwin.exe" error when I shut down my computer. (This is
the same error described in this same group on October 8, 2002). I have found the
source of my issue, on my system in particular, with alot of time and effort...
It is the Gravis Experience 4.5 Control Panel. This is the app used to set the buttons
on my game pad.
Anyhow, when I uninstall the gravis experience 4.5, I no longer have the error!!!
However, I can not set the buttons on my game pad...so this is useless :-(
I have been trying to find a solution to this issue for about 6 months now. The
tech support at gravis is not helping me very well. I had left a post at the microsoft
news group, and no one will help me there. The only people that replied told me
that my "issue" is not really an issue and they would rather help people with "real"
problems :-(. The tech support at microsoft is too much money (I am a student...I
have a very limited budget).
I am hoping that some body here will help me and not throw my issue aside. This
error has been bothering me for a very long time...and it's time that it got fixed.
I should also mention; I tried the solution given in the dwwin.exe post on Oct 8,
and had no luck.
Please Help Me!!!
Francis
