Okay -- it's a long ways back from this question being asked, but here's half the
solution:
WindowsXP is always in a domain, regardless of whether you have it set to a Workgroup
or not. Thus, to connect to the XP system from the others, you must supply the logon
domain. For example, if your computer name is "xp1" and the user is "bob" you would
pass the username of "xp1\bob" and bob's password. The other direction is what I'm
having problems with, though....
