Hey Buddy, Welp , This is what went down saturday. I did all that you did to try
to fix the problem. But I guess you got lucky cause I didnt. I decided it was time
to part away from my C: drive. I moved over alot of data to the D drive partition
and burned what I could, and FINALLY FORMATTED C:\ /U and reinstalled windows XP.
The good thing is now I got 20 gigs free space and operatable pc, to surf the net.
My pc is alot faster now too.. So i guess it turned out for the better. The best
part is that all my game folders, that i thought if i moved there folders to the
d: drive wouldnt work, worked!! warcraft 3, max payne, ages of empires, Grand theft
auto, Mafia, Never winter nights, counter strike, all my saved games all worked when
i previously installed them to the C: drive. I thought i would have to reinstall
them but i didnt. I guess it turned out for the better. And i hope that bug I had
in my pc that kept assigning me that address had a good breakfast, cause that son
of a bitch is banished to HELL. LOL thanks for all your help ROB and persons who
tried to help me on annoyances.org the problem is fixed, with the old trusty FORMAT
C. lol I tried to fix it for 3 months and i couldnt. This was surely related to
software issues, and maybe due to some tampering of my registry. To whomever my
experience this problem in the future, pls suggest that if you do all that you can
to fix it, save everything to cd's or move everything to another partition and format
c: ASAP.
