Question about 'Get Rid of the My Computer Icon'

I have a question about Get
Rid of the My Computer Icon:
Or you could just ,access your display properties. Select the desktop tab.
Click on customize desktop. Put a check mark next to My Computer. Click OK. Click
apply. This would show your Icon. To "get rid of it" you just have to do the same
but instead un-check it . This way you dont have to "be a pro" at finding your Icons
