I tried the regedit but it didnt help at all Im afraid.
I think you should try to do this -> download this software from Logitech (you do
not have to have a logitech mouse, I didnt have one) you can download it here http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/mw973enu.exe
Now install it and restart and run it on startup then go to "motion" and there u
will have an "acceleration option" Just select "none" and problems should be sloved.
