Sorry, this is about Win98, but applies to CAB files. I screwed up something in Registry,
trying toget rid of WinSafe program. I went to DOS to run "scanreg /restore", but
it isn't there! At least, I get "Bad filename or ..." doing a scanreg /? for hellp
gives same msg. all other DOS seems to work. So, I found the CAB backup reg files,
but wonder how I could extact them in DOS, or, m/b I can D/L the scanreg utility
from somewhere? When I try tostart up Windows, it looks like its in Safe Mode, even
if not, and asks me for my win98 registation #, which I suspect means it's trying
to re-install Windows? looks like Windows is already ther in the DIR, so..suggestionns?
