Could be any marginal component, the fact that it is a newly assembled PC further
re-inforces that theory. XP seems to be more demanding about the quality of the components
in the computer. I haven't personally seen these problems, but many have been reported
here. Memory is the easiest place to start if you have two DIMMs. If you only have
one, then...
