XP 'Zip' fix doesn't work

I agree with PhilHT - exactly the same thing happened to me.
Unfortunately, this solution does appear to be useless.
And please, let's not have any more 'help' from people telling us how splendid the
built-in XP support is. If we liked it, we wouldn't be asking this website for help
to turn it off.
