Win XP Home was pre-installed and I have 2 recovery discs. I originally used an Epox
EP-4B2M motherboard which I changed to an Intel D845WN m/board, which ran with no
problems. Due to a 'friends' tinkering I was advised to use the recovery discs. I
re-installed the Epox m/board and used the discs. Everything works ok until I try
to re-use the Intel board.
Win XP will not start. The computer runs through POST until it gets to a screen asking
me if I would like to start Windows normally, use a previous configuration which
works, safe mode etc. None of these work and I just get back to the above screen.
I have now gone back to the Epox m/board which works ok.
How can I get the Intel one to work as this is the one which I wish to use as it
is a full sized board with 6 PCI slots and not 3.
