I'm having the same problem with XP and a brother printer (MFC 8600) neither XP or
98 systems can connect via the network but it works fine on the local machine. Maybe
you managed to find a solution to this one? And, hooray, Brother doesn't supply
updated drivers on it's web site! May just have to use different machine with old
o.s. as the print server, but very annoying.
