re: Question about 'Set Defaults in Explorer' Thursday, December 19, 2002 at 9:19 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by ann (1 messages posted) thank you it's not just me experiencing this... after countless attempts of selecting the current folder view "like current folder" XP would ignore this and randomly change the folder view - some would be grouped, some with images with thumbnails (while others not at all). if i save control panel as icon view then all folders are displayed icon view, i then change my folder view back to details and hey presto, control panel is now details ! i never used to have that problem under 98. i have found little information around that explains this behaviour...
