Yes there is!!!
go to start Run
type in msconfig and hit enter
depending on what system you have
find advanced button on first window or..
go to boot.ini and then advanced, =MaxMem
select half the installed Ram (128 so enter 64)
select apply, get out and reboot
if it crashes less, your right its the Ram
if not, fiddle with the other options such as PCI lock
if you have trouble rebooting, press F8 on start up
navigate to msconfig and restore the settings
