My exeprience with video editing and storage requirements is to use a second drive
for this purpose. I installed a 60GB Maxtor ATA133 drive exclusively for video recording
and editing and it quickly is turning out to be too small. FAT32 only allowed 2GB
file size, but, with NTFS, that limit is now 2 TeraBytes. I have an AIW7500. I capture/record
TV on occasion. At the best settings for DVD/Mpeg2, 20GB free on this drive only
allows 4 hours of video. Video Eats Gigabytes. Just something to think about.
