Thanks for the reply. Haven't followed this subject by myself lately because I have
switched 'back' to Windows 2000, since there doesn't seem to be *any* serious reason
why one might prefer XP over 2k. But I'll be sure to archive this tip for later use
(e.g. once M$ and others (drivers etc) stop support for 2k and if Linux is still
not up to it I'd *have* to go for XP so this is very welcome - thanks)
