For this same problem, I tried: - Deleting the two BAG registry key(s) - Adding MRUSize registry key(s) - Various sequences of settings & reboots - Updating to SP1 none of which worked. What finally worked was starting Explorer with ~any command-line options besides "/e". For example, EXPLORER /e,c:\ starts Explorer with the usual "/e" view, but now the folder settings stick. Who knows why. Info on folder settings is at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307856 but no explanation on why any of them should make a difference on folder settings. I think it's just a bug in XP. Hope this helps. ____________
