Constantly Accessing Floppy Drive Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at 9:07 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by LF (2 messages posted) I'm dealing with a few systems that have Windows XP Pro installed cleanly on them and on random boot-ups they constantly try to access the floppy drive once Windows gets to the desktop. All other applications and services are INCREDIBLY slow while this happens. The only thing to do is shut down. I've cleared all startup programs with MSCONFIG, but the problem still occurs. Any ideas?
