I can tell you that I removed the registry key below and it worked.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}\InProcServer32
The only thing I can add is that it is difficult to find the key, so be patient looking
and double check everything. Once I found the key, I clicked on the +sign next to
it to reveal the "InProcServer32" subfolder and deleted that folder only. I left
the {87D6294-7...} key there.
I would also like to say that I have had this problem since I started using XP about
a year ago. I have asked tons of computer people about it and no one knew. I am
so relieved to finally have found this fix!!!
