I've had a ridiculous amount of trouble networking my two XP PCs. The desktop has Pro, and the laptop has Home. I've just now gotten the desktop to be able to access the laptop, but not vice versa. *shrugs* I'll keep plugging away. Besides setting the IP addresses to be on the same subnet and giving them the same subnet mask, what finally did the trick (thus far) was disabling the QoS packet thing on both computers. I'd give that a try, if I were you. Now, if only I could get the laptop to see....
