Norm,
I also was having a Dwwin.exe error upon shutting down Windows XP which only started
occuring immediately after installing for the first time my Gravis Xterminator Digital
Gamepad with the latest driver updates from the Gravis Website. I went in and updated
the Windows HKLM Registry as you suggested:
From: Grxp4exe.exe /init
To: Start /belownormal c:\windows\system32\Grxp4exe.exe /init
and found that this did indeed make the error go away upon shutdown, however, I then
could not run the Calibration - Testing diagnostics or Gravis presets anymore for
the Gravis gamepad after going into Control Panel / Game Controllers / Properties.
I decided that I needed the calibration and setup more than the slight inconvenience
of the dwwin.exe error and changed the Registry back to the original settings.
Do you know how I can get both of these items corrected at the same time - Fix the
Dwwin.exe error and have the luxury of calibration of the Gravis gamepad?
Thanks!
