Boot up Errors (Corrupted files). Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 11:47 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Chicky (2 messages posted) My windowz xp system boots up with an error "c:\windows\system32\config\system is corrupted or missing press r to repair" . When pressing r nothing happens... We now have it stuck booting up into install (setup) mode. Anyone any ideas of a util in windowz or other to sort this problem out.
