Dos settings in XP and 2000

I have a question about "Windows XP and 2000 " I want to see the dos as like windows 95 or 98. Like if i go to C:\dir It should be like windows But I don't like 11\1\2003 11.13 AM winnt I mean I don,t want see date and time first. Thanks
