I've got XP home (I know, I know) and had the same re-install problem. Unfortunately, the fix doesn't work, because there is no "Use simple sharing blah" box to uncheck. I get that crappy "Access Denied" thing, when I try to grab my old profile (and files) from my old (alternate) drive. Any ideas out there? Thanks!
