XP is better for being capatable with different componets (CD burners, ect.), but thats it. It other wise sucks. I have owned every versoin of windows since 3.0 and never had a bit of trouble till XP. I've got over $5000 dollars worth of software that will not run under XP. So I wiped my hard Disk and went back to win 98 se, the best, most stable version of windows I have ever owned.
