I assume that's lsass (with an L) not isass. (Frequent mistake...if it is indeed
isass, that's not an XP program and you should just stop it from running.)
Anyway...not clear whether this is more than just an annoyance for you, but if you're
just trying to get the error message to go away...
There are several services that run under lsass and you can probably disable them.
A couple have to do with "protected storage" and other MS BS.
Go to, http://www.blkviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm, and search the page for lsass,
click the links to read more about those services.
To access your services: Start Menu > Run > type: services.msc
