Application failed to initialize Error; TRd ww Friday, February 7, 2003 at 10:08 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Roger Goldberger (5 messages posted) When trying to open applications that have run normally before in XP, I get the following screen: "TRd ww: C:\NoteTeb\notetab.exe: notetab.exe- Application Error" in title bar. message is "Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate". Saw a reference in a forum to "Total Recorder" program causing problem and "TR" seemed to make sense. I uninstalled Total Recorder - still get error.
