try this, use a startup disk, boot into dos, type sys a: c:
This should overwrite the bootloader program to use dos files only (for win9x) instead
of using the ntldr.
It also depends on how you got rid of xp and went to 98. Just try what i said, and
if it didn't work, i'll help you more. If it did work, i'd like to know also. I
