I have a question about When I choose "Shut Down" from the Start Menu, my computer hangs at the "Please Wait" screen:

I have a Toshiba laptop with XP, when it was new I never had this problem (about a year ago) The only thing I can think of that MAY have caused it was I installed a copy of Adobe PhotoShop that was an older copy and did not work, so I uninstalled it. I can't remember if that is when the problem started or not, but NOW it takes over 2 minutes to shut down. I first get a solid blue screen for about a minute or so then a screen message saying it is saving my setting then another 15/20 seconds to actually shut down. This is very frustrating and any help I can get would be very much appreciated.Oh, also I saw a screen somewhere that said, there was some memory not being released? Thank, Paul
