Similar problem. Rinstalled XP to resolve a startup problem. However, dial-up
connections wiped out. Tried using internet connections wizzard to set up, but both
dial-up networking and broadband w/pwrd dimmed (unavailable) in setup wizzard (only
Broadband on all the time is available). Tried fixes noted in Q320558 (method 1&2).
Still dimmed - not able to install dial-up connetions. Help. Are you listening
Microsoft?
