Try to shut down the sysdlg32.exe task (Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the Task Manager Window and look into the Process list). I had the same problem and now the installation runs fine. Be sure RPC locator is activated as well (Start->Control Panel->Admin.Tools->Services->right click on RPC locator->preferences->activate). If you find that shutting down sysdlg32.exe is not enough try to do the same thing with other tasks running under you user name. A.
