he/she isnt talking about "laplink" "laplink" is a brand name like saying he didnt
get shoes he got nikes.
i am also having problems connecting my laptop win98 to my desktop XP Pro, using
a PARALLEL cable, the one that plugs into the PARALLEL port, does anyone know how
to fix this problem? or is it even possible to connect the two, i figured it might
not be since win98 uses FAT32 file system and win2000+ uses NTFS which arent compatable
but i figured the xp machine should still be able to connect and retrieve data from
the win98 host. ive tried serial cables and now have tried using the parallel, ive
downloaded heaps of connection software none of which work and am now out of ideas
any help?
