Hey all you other people trying to connect an XP machine to a different OS. I am having all the same problems with connecting XP to 98. I tried the install disk for a home network and my 98 machine still isn't being recognized. I have checked Ip's and workgroups they match and I can finally ping each computer with ip address and can ping xp from 98 by name but not vice versa. Each computers network group only displays itself. Anyone have any suggestions?? I was told networking was easy HA...HA
