But now I hear Windows default beep right before I shutdown or restart. If I delete the registry keys used to resolve the volume bar/internal pc speaker problem, there is no beep from the speakers or pc when I shutdown, which is the way it is supposed to be. Has anyone else noticed this? I saw a few posts elsewhere with no solution. Written in response to: Found a Solution!!!!!
