I searched through the forums but could only find this post,http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/t1033931061, which applies to Win98 and isn't really the same thing. please excuse if i missed a previous thread covering this.

It seems that when I want to set (or change) my default HTML editor through IE or the Control Panel, I go to Internet Options>Programs>HTML Editor. The problem is, nothing is filled in and nothing is in the dropwdown box either. Is there a way for me to add something into that dropdown box so I can choose it? More than one thing? I would assume it's in the Registry, but I do not know where. Also, would the location in the Registry be different for XP and 2000 (some other things are, which is why I'm asking)? Thanks for any help!
