Question about 'How do I stop a program from running whenever I start Windows?'

I have a question about How
do I stop a program from running whenever I start Windows?:

Is there a way to lock down the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\Run key? I have two applications (QuickTime and Real Player) which insist on leaving their junk in the autorun every time I view one of their media files. This is quite annoying and I would like to ether lock down that key or in the least find a way to disalow QTTask.exe and RealSched.exe from getting in. Any hints/advice/etc? Thanks, -- Matt
