I don't recall how I did it, but I know I didn't edit the registry, and I was able
to get rid of the QT junk, not sure if I have Real Player loaded or not (I'm not
at my home system right now). So examine the various configuration options and look
at the files involved.
I really despise these companies that are so self obsessed that they want to occupy
memory on your computer 100% of the time.
