Steve - I don't remember how I uninstalled last time, but just for fun I reinstalled SimTown and uninstalled again. Then I deleted the Show Desktop icon and recreated Show Desktop.scf as per Bobstur's post. The Show Desktop command reappeared on my task bar as a SimTown icon and is still "Type: SimTown Sounds". Perhaps I'll have to learn to live with it.....
