I remember changing my properties on the mouse like the night before the fan started going on after the computer was on standby...never really thought that could be the problem, but it was. Hope it works for you! Dont call Dell tech support either...they'll either tell you to close a bunch of programs on your task manager or OPEN UP THE CASE to RESEAT your power supply, do buy these solutions....I didnt!
