Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at 7:27 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike (2 messages posted) I have a question about How do I stop Windows from connecting to the Internet every time I open my browser?: I experience this problem, but my settings is as per the instructions in this page?? I have uninstalled my dialer, checked everywhere , yet when I am not connected to the internet, whenever I start my browser, Windows tries to dial up a connection. I have WinXP Pro (new) and IE 6. This is a new computer, so I am somewhat baffled by this. Any responses will be greatly appreciated.
