Question about 'Stop Pop-Up Spam Messages' Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at 11:04 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Rick Towle (10 messages posted) I installed ad-aware on my computer and ran it and quarantined everything that was in the list after I did my scan and then deleted it. But I still get porn that pops up and takes over my screen. I have to hit CTRL ALT DEL to bring up my task manager and end the task in order to get rid of it. I don't know how these adds came to come onto my computer. But I don't want then showing up. What can I do to get rid of them so they no longer come up when I am connected to the internet?
