Have just bought a skeleton box and added a hard drive from my old box. It doesn't hang after MUP.SYS - simply reboats and around we go again. Two ideas 1) Have you added any PCI stuff to your box? If so - take it out and try again 2) It's possibly something to do with security so you could try booting off your XP disc? This might make it clear that you are a legit user. Try computing.net for more details. I'll let you know how mine works out.
