How to stop those annoying pop-ups when using windows xp.
Right-click on 'My Computer', click 'Manage', click on 'Services and Applications',
click on 'Services', on the right hand side of the screen scroll down until you find
'Messenger' (this is not related to MSN Messenger), right click select 'Properties'
and change 'Startup Type' to Disabled. You might have to restart your computer for
this to take effect
Bingo - those annoying messages stop!
