It comes and goes for me too. Whenever a windows update happens, it always reverts
back to classic, and I can't choose xp. The choice is not there. After a few days,
it mysteriously reappears. Rebooting doesn't seem to help. And sometimes, one or
two users will be able to pick it, but others not (we have home, and four users,
and sometimes limited users can choose xp, and admistrators can't. bizarre.)
I've given up. The next time it happens to me, I'm going to call them up. Apparently
you get two free support calls, and I've never used any, ever. So I figure, what
the heck...
