I am having the same problem with the RPC. When attempting to do as you have stated,
I do not have that option available to start it/enable it. The option is there, just
not accessible. I read another thread somewhere where it was stated that you would
have to go into the registry to fix it, but they never finished the thread to state
where in the registry I would need to go to enable it. Please help.....
