ENTERNET - error 678 Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 10:56 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dave (2 messages posted) Hello, While my DSL modem i trying to connect i get a prompt message that says "Opening port... ERROR 678 cannot connect to remote computer" I have talked to technicians over the phone and they could not resolve it. We have gone over the configuration, disabling/enabling and it still isnt working. Could i need to install new drives? What are all the ways i could fix this problem? Thank you.
