I have a few dos chess programs that do not work under XP and the publisher's say
they wont as well. These progs have copy protection hooked directly into the DOS
and as you know, the kernal which emulates DOS in XP is not DOS, so they won't run
in a DOS shell under XP.
I am glad your software runs, but attacking the original poster for offering reasonable--and
truthful expectations seems unfair to me.
