I have also verified this using a freshly formatted drive. I installed the Gravis
pad first and it performed flawlessly...with no errors at shutdown. A few days later,
I installed NAV 2k3, and the error message returned at the very first shutdown. Symantec
refuses to acknowledge the problem. I have e-mailed them on several occassions. Not
once have they given me a response.
The registry fix in this thread does the job, but I have found that the analog sticks
do not have their full range of sensitivity...so I have found myself removing the
registry hack, and rebooting just to play a game...only to replace the hack when
I'm finished. It is a hassle, but I just hate that damned error. Perhaps if more
folks contact symantec about the issue, we will be heard.
