I have a problem that are making me loose my mind. I recently tried to upgrade from
Windows Me to Windows XP SP1, and since that it's been a nightmare.
When I'm doing the instalation in the blue screen, the installer says that are some
files missing (odd enough, aren't always the same files that are missing!), and sometimes
I'm not able to finish the instalation ...
When I can make the instalation, I not able to install any program that uses CAB
files. It tried to install lots of times Office and Championship Manager 4 and the
answer I get in the middle of the instalation process is that I have a CAB file that
is corrupt ...
I need to say that when I used Windows Me, everything worked perfectly, and that
I've already tried to install my Windows XP in a friend's computer and he had no
problems.
My system is a Pentium at 2.6 Ghz, with a Geforce 4 (with 128 Mb) and a HDD of 40
Mb.
Please somebody help me because I'm very near to throw Windows XP through the window
...
Regards,
José
