I got rid of it by running gpedit.msc and choosing Administrative Templates>Windows
Componenets>MSN Messenger and disabling the two options that read: Do not allow Windows
Messenger to be Run and Do not Automatically Start Windows Messenger. I had a bit
of problem with my system and a the registry had to be reverted and now, despite
those changes it still lods with Outlook Express. You might try the gpedit.msc trick,
it might work for you.
