Sunday, July 20, 2003 at 12:44 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Arbi (226 messages posted) if you mean by keyboard short cuts as your keyboard having a button on the side called standby or shutdown, i dont there is a way to turn it off.you could try going to keyboard in the control panel and see if there is a tab for your keyboard extra features. my old hp had that tab and it gave me the option to turn off those extra buttons ont he keyboard.
