If your on a broadband connection without a firewall/router then it's your own fault.
Routers are not expensive, and they'll save you hundreds in repairs due to the fact
that your computer(s) will no longer be openly exposed to the net. I've honestly
never ran into the problem in this article, but then again, I've been using a firewall/router
since DSL was new to the market ( at that time, router WERE expensive, but that was
then, and this is now, and that no longer holds true ). Do yourself a favor, get
a router. Then all these little problems will go away. Simple as that. See, it's
careless people that make me alot of money... afterall.. I'm a technician. so I
tell ya what... don't get a router... instead... bring your machine to me so I can
charge you $100 per hour to fix it. ;)
